What data we collect
- Application form: first name, last name, phone number, email, chosen sector, optional additional information, and an optional CV file.
- Contact form: name, email address, and the content of your message.
- Technical data: your language preference and your cookie consent choice, both stored in your browser.
Why we process your data
- To contact you about work opportunities in the Netherlands and assess your suitability for a vacancy (pre-contractual steps, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To answer questions submitted through the contact form (legitimate interest / consent).
- Based on the consent you give by checking the consent box on the application form (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
Who we share your data with
Your application data is sent by email to info@darbseuropa.lv and is not stored in a separate database on our server. If a suitable vacancy is found, your contact details and CV may be shared with the relevant employer in the Netherlands to arrange an interview or the start of work. We do not sell or use your data for advertising purposes.
How long we keep your data
Application data is kept for as long as needed to assess your application and contact you about work opportunities, but no longer than 12 months from our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or a longer period is required by law. Messages sent through the contact form are kept for as long as needed to resolve your enquiry.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to: access your data; request correction; request deletion; restrict or object to processing; request data portability; and withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal). To exercise any of these rights, write to info@darbseuropa.lv. If you believe your rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija, www.dvi.gov.lv).
Cookies
We use only technically necessary cookies: one to remember your language choice, and one to remember your cookie consent decision. These do not require your consent. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future (such as Google Analytics), they will only be loaded after you give consent in the cookie banner, and you will be able to withdraw that consent at any time.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and restricted access to submitted information. No system is completely secure, but we regularly review our processes.
